An ex-fashion model of the top class who was 5'10'' tall. Carey was popular with the top American fashion designers like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. She is the daughter of an outstanding geologist who was awarded the title of Scientist of the Year from the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists. Her father was a geologist and traveled around the world as part of his professional career. After she graduated from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, she started to do modeling as a side. It caught the attention of an agent from Ford Model Agency New York. She lived in France briefly, in Paris as well as Bordeaux. After that, she came back in New York for her college studies as well as to develop her career as a model. In between her modeling assignments she was a full time student obtaining a major of literature from New York University. She became more interested in acting and began studying in the Neighborhood Playhouse of New York. She had a small part on Club Paradise with Robin Williams in 1986. When she is not working, she enjoys skiing, windsurfing, climbing rocks as well as whitewater rafting.
