Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress, and songwriter when she appeared on the television show One Tree Hill. She played Alex during three of the season's final seasons. The first two albums she made as a country singer included in episodes of the series helping her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One (2015), the album which followed in 2015, was also among in the Top Ten. She finished out the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars and appearing in a variety of TV shows alongside several singles from her non-album album. The self-doubting Voices saw release in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native, who grew up on country music. Though she had a recording and acting career, her debut on screen was in the horror independent film Dead/Undead (2002) while still in high school. Over the years Kramer was a regular on a variety of shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the second season (2007-2008). Kramer later appeared on television as Portia Ranson on 90210 from 2008 until 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. She joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she continued to appear until the final episode in 2012, part way into. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was featured on her first complete album Jana Kramer. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. She remained focused on her career in music afterward, she did not stop acting. Kramer appeared in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. Kramer released her sophomore studio album Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet Aerosmith contributed to the album's ability to achieve even greater success and landed at the third spot at the top of the Billboard 200. In September, she spent two months on the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars, which ended with an overall fourth place. The same year she was also a part of an adult contemporary hit featuring Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
