Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Martinca is an actor from Romania. She was awarded the British Academy Television Award Best Actress for her Channel 4 film Sex Traffic. French, German English fluently. Her father, a professor of theater at one of Romania's most prestigious theatre schools, is a theatre teacher. She was awarded the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 at the Gala for Young Actors in Mangalia. It was the European Film Promotion Board named her an European Shooting Star in 2008. She was an actor from Romania in Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 months 3 weeks and two days (four months three weeks and two days) and was given with the Palme d'Or and other prizes at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Youth Without Youth, a Francis Ford Coppola movie, was also a major part of her career. In 2008, she appeared as Yasim Angwar, the BBC miniseries of five episodes The Last Enemy. Marinca was also a part of Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven and the Romanian drama Boogie. She appeared as Irma In Fury 2014, where she portrayed the role of a German known aunt for Emma.
