Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American producer and actor, has been known for her roles in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA in Brown University in African-American Studies. At the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University she earned an MFA. Aunjanue Ellis. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made appearances on BET's acclaimed television series The Book of Negroes. Her professional acting debut in the role of Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. The stage credits she has received include the Broadway production of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. Her film career is highlighted through her roles as a character in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Her work in television she's been recognized for her role as the regular character in ABC's drama about cops High Incident.
